LIKE…… he was in a one-on-one duel with the most evil wizard of all time, the wizard who murdered his parents, most of his parental figures and several of his friends, the wizard who had been causing him pain since the age of one, the wizard who is seconds away from murdering him, and this golden-hearted angel of a boy still never cast Avada Kedavra. He just cast a disarming spell and it blasted Voldemort’s own killing curse back at him. Harry wasn’t responsible for the spell that killed Voldemort, that was entirely Voldemort’s own doing. Like sure, Harry knew that if his wand overpowered Voldemort’s it would probably kill him, but if Voldemort hadn’t cast the spell with the intent of killing Harry, he would still be alive, and I think that there’s a big distinction. Harry had so much goodness and kindness in his heart and he was so full of integrity and decency and forgiveness fgs. im crying i will fight anybody who insults this cupcake
